足立区綾瀬のレストラン・バーの内装設計。既存の曲線天井を生かしながら有機的な空間を作った。アフターファイブのサラリーマンが、首を回し椅子に浅く座って、ワインを飲みながらボーと天井を眺めて時間を過ごせる空間をイメージした。ダリア、ハイビスカス、イングリッシュアイビー、ブナ、ハートカズラ、シュガーバイン、グリーンネックレスなど下から見て楽しめる花を注意深く選定した。

Stacking Green House in Vietnam




















Where:

Saigon (city with the highest density of population in the world)



How:

- It is a typical tube house constructed on the plot 4,00 m wide and 20,00m deep.

- The front and back façades are entirely composed of layers of concrete planters cantilevered from two side walls.

- The distance between the planters and the height of the planters are adjusted according to the height of the plants, which varies from 25 cm to 40 cm.

- To water plants and for easy maintenance, an automatic irrigation pipes inside the planters has been developed. 

-  This tropical, unique and green house has been named “Stacking Green” because its façades filled with vigorous and vital greenery.

- The house structure is a RC frame structure widely used in Vietnam. 

- The partition walls are very few in order to keep interior fluency and view of green façades from every point of the house. 


- The green façade and roof top garden protect its inhabitants from the direct sunlight, street noise and pollution. 

- Furthermore, natural ventilation through the façades and 2 top-lights allow this house to save a big energy in a harsh climate in Saigon ( bioclimatic principles of traditional Vietnamese courtyard house).

supertrees


June 29, 2011. People are dwarfed by the structure of "Supertrees" seen against the financial skyline of Singapore. These "Supertrees" are vertical gardens, embedded with environmentally sustainable functions and range from 25-50-meters in height, and are part of the government's efforts to bring their national gardens into the city center.

El medio de plantación está constituido por una fábrica de botelleros cerámicos, cada uno de los huecos actúa como un elemento de absorción acústica, la configuración del jardín, el sustrato y la vegetación colaboran a la hora de crear este efecto anecoico. 
Los elementos cerámicos están colocados con una leve inclinación hacia el interior lo que permite la entrada del agua de riego. Se trata del primer jardín de estas características realizado en el mundo.
 Teniendo en cuenta las características del clima de Ibiza hse han seleccionado variedades de crasssula, euphorbia, echeveria, aeonium, kalanchoe, sedum y sedeveria que se adaptan a estas condiciones. Estas especies algunas provienen de ecosistemas donde se ubican en paredes verticales o en situaciones con muy poco sustrato; como se puede observar proporcionan una multitud de colores durante todo el año.

Mountain-Like UP Lift Zeppelin Hangar Doubles As a Green Roofed Extreme Sports Center














The competition called for the hangar to be a “single structure with a clearance of 100 meters wide by 300 meters long and 100 meters in height to house the production and storage of a zeppelin.” The requirements also demanded that there be a single door with an opening of 100 meters by 100 meters and the ceiling had to support a crane with which to do work and maintenance. After meeting specific requirements regarding the size of the hangar, OPEN Architecture let their ideas flow freely about what else the structure could be beyond a simple and functional storage space.
Inspiration for the structure came from the geological process of uplift, whereby the earth is thrust upwards. In this case, the earth is lifted up like a blanket to create a pocket large enough to store a zeppelin in and the exterior is covered in a living roof. Working with structural engineer CABR (China Academy of Building Research), OPEN Architecture designed a prefabricated concrete frame and panel system that could carry the load requirements inside as well as a green-roofed exterior. Perforated with skylights, the roof lets in natural light into the hangar, facilitates natural ventilation and aids in the collection of rainwater, which is stored underground in a cistern.
Renewable energy generation systems like photovoltaic panels and micro wind turbines are also located on the top of the structure to generate power for the hangar. But to top if off, the green roof is more than just a pretty facade, it’s also totally usable. Hiking trails will be cut around the facility and up onto the facade so visitors can climb around on the roof. Nature walks, rest platforms, picnic areas and even camping sites will be incorporated. Those into extreme sports, like rock climbing and bungie jumping will also find something to do on the hangar’s roof, where a climbing wall and other equipment will be built in. The goal then of OPEN Architecture’s design is not just to create a practical and functional hangar, but a destination that many people will want to visit and enjoy.
